Arina Kole is a writer, educator and an event manager & host.
A recipient of the Denis Diderot Grant, she was invited to attend Château d’Orquevaux, an international artists and writers residency in northeastern France. Her work has appeared in Looking Back, Looking Forward: Art in Response to COVID-19, Minnesota Street Project, Berne Davis Art Center and Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place, and Nature (UK). She is a former Creative Director for Lumina Journal and holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.
North-Caucasus born Arina now lives in Brooklyn.
If she is not tethered to her prized Murphy desk at work on the epistolary memoir about polyamory and family cycles, you can find her dodging bears in the U.S. wilderness or blowing her life-savings chasing The National on tour across Europe, or in East Village hosting monthly reading series Surviving New York.
